In her review of the 2005 International Contemporary Furniture Fair, Karen Klages quoted Matt Soorikian about Soorikian Furniture’s new Wall Panel System:
This year, some of the most interesting products weren’t furniture, but rather big and small strokes of modern architecture. Everyone from artists to architects played with the very bones of the modern American home. …
Georgia based architects/designers Matt and Karen Soorikian unveiled their wall panel systems from which shelves and furniture (also of their design) can be floated and cantilevered. “It’s architecture to go with your furniture instead of the other way around,” explains Matt Soorikian, who is also the fabricator behind them.
